Episode 93 – The Appendix of the Watch World

Episode 93Welcome to the HourTime show, the best 30 minute (+/-) hour podcast on the web.

In this weeks riveting episode we discuss a bit more of SIHH, the Richard Millie RM 56 and it’s case made of sapphire, the Hamilton Khaki X-Patrol Watch and the revised version of the Konstantin Chaykin Lunokhod, the ‘New Moon’ Watch.

John also makes a plea to the HourTime listeners to help in the hunt for a new girlfriend for Ariel.

I can’t see this turnout out good at all.  Nope.

So What The Heck Happened?

We just suffered a major setback in our podcasting empire: our host, Mevio, essentially shut down all of their outside podcasts, leaving us to scramble for a new host. This means all 95 of our old shows are hanging out in limbo somewhere until we can upload them to the new platform and you guys haven’t been able to enjoy our delightful voices.

You can subscribe to the podcast in iTunes here and we should have a real podcast in the iTunes directory this week. We literally have no access to our account to point users to another host. I’m amazingly upset by Mevio’s decision (and lack of communication) but them’s the breaks.

Our goal now, it would seem, is to keep this podcast going into our 100th show and beyond and hopefully we’ve put these problems behind us. Mevio was a free service and Podbean is a paid one so ideally we’re going to get better service. Podbean also offers an Android app and if anyone would be interested in that we can look into enabling it.

Again, thanks for listening and stick with us. We’ll back back on track shortly.

Episode 92 – Podcasting from the Bushes

Mevio-92.jpgWelcome to the HourTime show, the best 30 minute (+/-) hour podcast on the web.

We want to start off this week by thanking our new audio host PodBean.com for streaming our content – thanx guys!

So, on with the show …

In this weeks episode we discuss Ariel’s trip to SIHH, the new ICW Big Pilot watches (sexiness), the Tag Heuer Mikrogirder 2000 (a 5/10,000th of a second chronograph that is just crazy cool but with a name only Ron Popeil could love) and lastly, the Jaeger-LeCoultre Duomètre à Sphérotourbillon.

Yep. It’s all in a days work.

Tumblr Problems

I’m about to move this site to a hosted WordPress solution because, as you can see, I can no longer embed Mevio embeds into the posts here and I have to depend on Tumblr’s video post thinger (don’t ask). Anyway, while we do this please excuse our dust.
