That New Site Smell

Well, as you can see, we are changing the look of things around here.
This is done to bring a better cohesiveness to the look of this page, the iPhone and Kindle apps and our Facebook page.
With the new logo in place, we can now make them blend into a more seamless look for HourTime.

And here you thought were were unseemly … shows you!

Join Ariel And I At Heartland Brewery On Union Square @ 6pm On May 2

Well, it’s been finalized. We’ll be running our first ever joint WristWatchReview/ABlogToRead/Hourtime meet-up in New York City on May 2 at 6pm. We’ll hold it at Heartland Brewery on Union Square, probably in the upstairs dining area. Sadly this will be a cash bar but we’ll get a few plates of munchies for us all to share.

Please pop over here to give us a headcount and we look forward to seeing you next week!

This Is The New iTunes Feed

Hi. Mevio finally let us in to post something on our feed and I was able to upload a little warning to you and yours to subscribe to the NEW Hourtime feed rather than the old one. I’ve created a handy identification system for you above – pick the one that’s dark red and black, not the handsome, older logo.

To recap, this is the iTunes feed of the show right here. Click on it, subscribe to us, rate us, love us.

So What The Heck Happened?

We just suffered a major setback in our podcasting empire: our host, Mevio, essentially shut down all of their outside podcasts, leaving us to scramble for a new host. This means all 95 of our old shows are hanging out in limbo somewhere until we can upload them to the new platform and you guys haven’t been able to enjoy our delightful voices.

You can subscribe to the podcast in iTunes here and we should have a real podcast in the iTunes directory this week. We literally have no access to our account to point users to another host. I’m amazingly upset by Mevio’s decision (and lack of communication) but them’s the breaks.

Our goal now, it would seem, is to keep this podcast going into our 100th show and beyond and hopefully we’ve put these problems behind us. Mevio was a free service and Podbean is a paid one so ideally we’re going to get better service. Podbean also offers an Android app and if anyone would be interested in that we can look into enabling it.

Again, thanks for listening and stick with us. We’ll back back on track shortly.
